Oil painting by Monika dating from 1983 depicting the
transfiguration of an ancient ruler of Egypt, the enlightened King Echnaton.
He is credited as being the first figure in the history of mankind
to promote the concept of monotheism.
Depicted here as a space traveller he was a human being
who was very much ahead of his time in more ways than one.
Uli Jon Roth chose this painting, which is one of his all-time favourites,
to grace the album cover of the third Electric Sun album
“Beyond The Astral Skies” in 1984.
